Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the CMPG website and services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our site or services.  These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and CMPG regarding your use of our site.

CMPG Services and Role

CMPG provides visa, housing, and banking assistance for foreigners in Chiang Mai. We act solely as a facilitator and informational portal, not as a government agency, real estate broker, landlord, or bank.  We connect users with service providers (e.g. immigration officials, landlords, banks) and provide guidance on procedures. We do not guarantee any specific outcome, such as visa issuance, rental approval, or bank account opening.  We do not charge membership or subscription fees; any fees for paid services will be stated clearly in advance. Our role is to provide clear guidance and referrals, and all decisions by third parties are ultimately beyond our control.

User Responsibilities

When using CMPG tools and services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information.  You must supply true, complete, and up-to-date information and documents as requested. CMPG may verify your information. Inaccurate or incomplete data can lead to delays or rejections for which CMPG is not responsible.
• Obey third-party rules.  If you engage with third-party providers (such as banks, landlords, or government sites) through our referrals, you must comply with their terms and requirements. Any agreements or contracts you enter into are between you and the third party.
• Use tools properly.  Use our forms, calculators, and resources only for their intended purpose.  Do not manipulate or abuse these tools (for example, by spamming or hacking).
• Respect security.  Keep any login credentials or access codes secure.  Notify us if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in delays or ineligibility that CMPG cannot remedy.

Content and Accuracy

All content on the CMPG website (text, guides, checklists, etc.) is provided for general informational purposes only.  We strive to keep information accurate and current, but laws and regulations can change quickly. Therefore:

• We make no warranties or guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content.
• All materials are provided “as is”, without any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.  You use the site at your own risk.
• CMPG is not liable for any errors or omissions in the content, or for any loss or damage arising from your reliance on it.

You should double-check critical information (for example, official visa requirements) with the appropriate authorities. No content on our site constitutes a binding promise by CMPG unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Third-Party Services and Links

Our site may contain links or references to third-party websites and services (such as government e-Visa portals, bank sites, or housing platforms).  These are provided for convenience and information. CMPG does not control and is not responsible for the content or policies of any external site.  We do not endorse or guarantee any third-party services. If you click a link to a third-party site, you do so at your own risk, and any data you provide there is subject to that site’s terms and privacy policies, not CMPG’s. Your interaction with third-party providers is solely between you and that provider.

Intellectual Property

CMPG and its licensors own all intellectual property on this site, including text, graphics, logos, and software. These materials are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws‍. You may view and download content for personal, non-commercial use only, provided you keep all copyright and proprietary notices intact. Any other use — including reproduction, distribution, modification, or public display — without our prior written consent is strictly prohibited.  The CMPG logo and name are our registered trademarks and may not be used without permission. Violating these rules may infringe CMPG’s intellectual property rights.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the CMPG website and services lawfully and responsibly.  In particular, you will not:

• Disrupt the site.  Attempt to breach security, interfere with the site’s operation, or circumvent any access controls. CMPG may immediately suspend accounts or access if you do so.
• Violate laws.  Use our site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any Thai or international laws.
• Harass or defame.  Harass, stalk, intimidate, or harm other users or CMPG staff. Do not post defamatory, obscene, or offensive content.
• Abuse services.  Use our forms or tools to spam, send unsolicited messages, or to defraud others. Do not copy or scrape our content for resale or commercial gain.
• Impersonate or mislead.  Do not pretend to be someone else or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

CMPG reserves the right to remove or block any content or user that violates these standards.  You remain solely responsible for all acts and omissions carried out through your account.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

CMPG provides all services and information on an “as-is” basis and makes no guarantees about results. Specifically:

• We do not guarantee that any visa application will be approved, that you will secure a rental, or that a bank will open an account for you. Those decisions rest entirely with immigration authorities, landlords, banks, or other parties. No private service, including CMPG, can promise a specific outcome.
• We make no warranties of any kind (express or implied) regarding our services or content. This includes warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
• CMPG is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your use of our site or services. This includes, but is not limited to, delays, errors, omissions, or interruptions. For example, we are not responsible for loss of data, profits, or goodwill.
• CMPG is not liable for any actions or inactions of third parties. For instance, if a landlord changes the terms of a lease, or a bank rejects your account, CMPG has no control over those outcomes.
• CMPG is not liable for events beyond our control, such as government shutdowns, natural disasters, internet outages, or similar “force majeure” events.

In all cases, CMPG’s total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the fees (if any) you paid us for the specific service at issue. No advice or information provided by CMPG or our staff will create any warranty; reliance on our guidance is at your own risk.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless CMPG, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, expenses (including attorney fees), or damages arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your misuse of the site. This includes any claims made by third parties against CMPG due to your actions. You will cooperate as fully as needed to defend CMPG against any claim.

Modifications and Termination

CMPG may update or modify these Terms at any time. We will post the revised Terms on our website, and the effective date will be the date of posting. Your continued use of the site after that date means you accept the new Terms.

CMPG reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the site and services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason (including violation of these Terms). On termination, CMPG may delete or block access to your content and information without liability. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (such as Intellectual Property, Disclaimer, and Governing Law) will continue to apply.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and your use of CMPG are governed by the laws of Thailand.  Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or CMPG’s services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Thai courts.  You and CMPG each submit to the personal jurisdiction of Thai courts for resolution of such disputes.
